Steffko / TBA
STEFFKO is the solo music project of Austrian musician and multidisciplinary artist Stefanie Koscher.
Showmanship meets lo-fi punk attitude, which Stefanie Koscher internalized during her NYC years. Hanging around Brooklyn’s DIY venues and the city’s performance and art rock scene, she regularly played solo as well as with her band project Steffko And The Facebookbraggerz with rotating Band Members such as Luke Kelly of the Fem Doms, Brent Cole of the Moldy Peaches and Harlem Underground Rapper WIFI. She also played with various New York avant-garde bands, such as Ching Chong Song or The Johns. From 2014 to 2016 she organized and hosted the monthly Open Mic Vienna 2.0 at the Loft Vienna. In 2013 she founded the garage grunge / punk band „Koscher“ together with Adam Cohen (www.madebymystery.com), which released a live tape in 2018. (koschermusic.bandcamp.com)
Currently she is working on a homerecorded album titled „Crisis“, socially distanced in collaboration with legendary producer Gordon Raphael (The Strokes, Regina Spektor, The Libertines) as well as on an experimental rap side project.
