“NAPAEA” is the folk-pop project of young Austrian singer/songwriter Katharina Milchrahm, who addresses typical songwriter-topics with an astonishing, grounded soul voice and brisk folk-pop. Using a broad range of dynamics, NAPAEA tells her listeners about home and wanderlust and growing up in small villages.
NAPAEA is accompanied by blues harps, acoustic bass, drums and a violin, which gives her music it’s unique sound by combining elements of Folk and Punk with typical singer/songwriter.
During her young career she already supported and played with bands/musicians like Wallis Bird, PJ Bond, The Uptown Monotones, Big Eyes, The Liberation Service, Stefan Wedam among others.
Micky Dey is a folk-rock artist, born and bred in the bleak and brutal valleys of Northern England, but recently moved to Vienna. His vocal melodies soar from broken and delicate depths to defiant and rich highs, sitting somewhere within the song writing styles of Elliott Smith, Jeff Buckley and Laura Stevenson, full of stories of his years living in the capital and touring this continent.
